A privately-owned boutique educational consultancy is looking for a bright, enthusiastic PA to join their small, independent team based in South-west London.

They are on a mission to provide parents and children with focused and exclusive tutoring. The company looks to help a vast range of students; from those applying to US and UK universities, to younger children between 6 – 18 years old who are still in mainstream education. They build successful and long-term relationships with their clients due to the understanding of each family’s unique needs and their ability to tailor work so every individual can flourish to their full potential. They encourage all students to develop personally, not just academically.

The role will be primarily supporting the EA to the director but also the wider team when necessary. The position has huge potential to evolve and carry increasing responsibility as the company continues to evolve and expand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sending and receiving an extremely high volume of emails and texts
  • Taking on new teachers and clients – sending out, receiving and chasing paperwork
  • In-putting lesson schedules onto CRM system
  • Checking / flagging / chasing lesson reports
  • In-putting data for lesson reports onto existing system (or creating a new one)
  • Sending out information on Assessments to new clients
  • Lesson scheduling (changes / cancellations)
  • Managing Assessment diary
  • Booking teachers for Assessments
  • Creating reports
  • Downloading, printing and filing of exam papers
  • Education Research for the Director
  • Booking meeting room

The person we are looking for should have:

  • English to native standard
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Be highly organised
  • Pick up new IT systems quickly
  • Be able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Be happy to muck in when required
