Part Time Housekeeper/Nanny, Berkshire
£13/hr gross
Temp to Permanent
I am looking for a lovely, friendly Housekeeper to help Mum out with her 3 boys, aged 9, 6 and 3 years old. The Family are based in Cippenham and are looking for a Housekeeper to come in for around 15 hours each week dropping boys to school and nursery, before returning to the house to do laundry, tidy up and clean house to a high standard.
The Family need someone kind and supportive to be their caretaker, to take ownership over domestic duties so they can enjoy family time in a clean organised home. Someone with a sense of humour and warm caring nature would be most welcome. You will ideally come from one of the surrounding areas: Slough, Maidenhead, Langley, Burnham, Windsor, Uxbridge, West Drayton, Hayes, Datchet.
Mum is at home, but has a medical condition which means she needs some help around the house with laundry and cleaning. This is an informal household, 2 bedrooms.
During term time, the hours will be 7.15am til 10.15am, Monday to Friday.
During school holidays the hours will be 9am til 12pm. You will need to be flexible to a degree as some days may be longer than others.
The main requirements are:
- sole and shared charge (occasional babysitting)
- term time/non term time flexibility
- DBS
- Driver with own car
- school run support so ideally local/reliable in mornings
- high standard of cleaning and organising home
- all aspects of cleaning/laundry/domestic support
- not afraid to do traditional down on hands and knees cleaning
- meticulous attention to detail
- professional approach and honest
- sensitive/caring and discreet towards family additional needs and mum’s condition
- Excellent checkable references
- ability to work unsupervised to tight schedules and follow written instructions
- be calm, patient and have initiative/enthusiasm
- opportunity for permanent for right candidate
- must be physically fit
- minimal caring duties when needed
- must be committed to staying with family long term
