Our prestigious International law firm client is currently looking for a Legal PA to join their Employment department on a part time basis, this is to work the fantastic days of Tuesday – Thursday and the core hours will be 9.30am – 5.30pm. The successful candidate will be expected to take on complex tasks, support projects, and provide departmental secretarial support, as well as playing a critical role in managing daily administration for stakeholders. The main responsibilities for this role are developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of clients, sector mandates, stakeholders and projects, understanding priorities, potential issues, sensitivities and key client stakeholders  and practically apply this knowledge to support partners, fee earners and/or senior directors across a range of activities, acting as the key liaison point between clients (both internal and external) and take responsibility for handling incoming queries/issues. Assess, prioritise and follow up requests and actions, whilst managing clients’ expectations, providing effective mailbox management on behalf of fee earners or senior directors; screen communications to act as a gatekeeper, draft emails and basic responses where possible, ensuring all requests are followed up in an accurate and timely manner and escalated when necessary, acting as an integral member of the team; maintain a high level of awareness of current priorities and support required, providing support to the wider team, streamlining and distributing administrative tasks and managing resources in order to provide an effective and efficient service, supporting projects and work streams; manage delivery of tasks to timescales. Candidate must have previous Legal Secretary experience with excellent communication, technical and organisational  skills.
