One of the London’s leading event caterers working alongside some of the most prestigious venues is looking for strong Chef de Partie.

From corporate dinners, private celebrations and weddings, this company offers a unique and creative service to every client.

The Company have a variety of seasonal menus that hold true to their food philosophy that is to source high quality, fresh and seasonal produce tracing its journey from farm to plate.

Main responsibilities of Chef de Partie:

  • Make sure that all dishes are prepared and cooked according to the specific restaurant standards,

  • Managing the development and supervision of the Commis Chefs on the section,

  • Ensuring that Jr Chefs are fully trained and understand their duties,

  • Ensure that stock is rotated and controlled within the specific section of the kitchen,

  • Ensure the cleaning schedule is adhered to and that cleaning tasks are delegated as appropriate,

  • Ensure full understanding of the functional administration of the restaurant,

  • Maintain a detailed Knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions,

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements under the H&S act 1974 and Food Hygiene,

  • Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to,

  • Wears the proper uniform at all times and make sure that Commis Chefs wear proper uniform at all times

  • Ensure that everything is done to the highest possible standards.

 

Successful candidate would have:

  • Previous fine dining background - Either Michelin* or Rosette Restaurant , Fine dining restaurant or 5* Hotel

  • At least 1 year of experience in find dinning establishment

  • Great attention to details

  • A driving license would be a plus – but it’s NOT a main requirement

 

Working hours: Monday to Friday – 06:30 -15:00 (You might be ask to do overtime – so need to be flexible)

Salary : 22,000 – 25,000 per annum ( depending on experience) + paid overtime

Start : ASAP
