Legal PA - Employment Law £40,000

If you have experience working as a legal secretary, either in in litigation or Employment law, there is an exciting opportunity for you to further your career with one of the top UK media law firms.

Our client, a highly reputable organisation, are offering an opportunity, with ongoing training and a long list of benefits, to an experienced Legal PA.

The Legal PA who takes this role will be working alongside a small team of specialists, who are passionate about their involvement in a broad range of employment disputes.

This Partner deals with sexual harassment claims Contractual breaches, unfair and constructive dismissals and bullying. There have been several high-profile Employment claims in the press, in recent months, involving those from the entertainment and sporting world. This 'down to earth’ lawyer has been at the heart of these cases and a PA is urgently required.

We are looking for an individual who comes with a high degree of confidentiality and who is happy to deal with high profile celebrities.

The tasks of the role are varied and include providing wide-ranging and hands-on administrative support to the media team, including;

  • Extensive diary management; arranging meetings, corporate lunching and scheduling calls.
  • Travel arrangement; organising and preparing itineraries.
  • Coordinate internal and external events, in accordance with a budget - managing invitees, researching and allocating catering, managing finances and rostering staff.
  • Document management; scanning, filing and archiving files.
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations and preparing pitch documentation.
  • Coordinating monthly bills and processing expenses.
  • Liaise with clients, overseeing and managing due diligence and compliance.
  • Providing support to other teams, including assisting as PA cover/relief.
  • Other ad hoc administrative tasks, as and when required.

The successful candidate will have;

  • Extensive Legal PA/Secretary experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication experience.
  • Excellent and MS skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
