Boutique US Law Firm based in the heart of the city, is looking to hire a dynamic and forward thinking HR professional to cover the entire HR function on a 12 month FTC reporting in to both the London Managing Partner and HR Director, based in the States. The firm is flexible on the level of hire and will look at either HR Managers or Senior HR Advisors – for HR Advisor applicants you will need to have undertaken high-level employee relations and recruitment pieces plus be CIPD qualified. This role is a sole position so applicants need to be proactive, self-starting and have the gravitas to represent the firm from an HR perspective to all internal staff including Partners. This role will be a full generalist position with responsibilities ranging from Resourcing, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations and HR Analytics. Applicants should ideally have legal or partnership experience with a good understanding of current employment law and HR best practice with the ability to apply this in the workplace. Additionally experience of running a payroll with an outsourced provider and previous knowledge of HR software be it Workday or similar would be advantageous. This firm is based in stunning City offices with standard hours being 9:30 – 17:30, a flexible attitude is necessary as with any busy HR department there could always be the chance of overtime.
