£28,000 + Benefits + Overtime

This role is to manage the hospitality for Dignitaries, senior city professionals, politicians and public figures in one of the most prestigious offices within the City. Your role will be to plan each event, work with the time frames and aims of the host and ensure that each project is met with absolute care and professionalism. You will be researching guest lists, issuing invitations, recording responses, attending meetings and developing the event arrangements. You will be working on event proposals, preparing reports and budgets. You will work with suppliers and ensure that they are working to the specifications of the clients and devise table plans briefing notes and all the correspondence for the event. These events could be from 4 to 2000 guests. The role will involve speaking to all the leading City institutions, helping to put together research, proposals, seating plans, dealing with all facilities, room hires, charges and services. You will be bringing together reports, schedules, managing the client and event files and meeting clients in person. This role will suit someone with experience in events looking to build their career within a most prestigious organisation.

Skills: Good organisational skills, an interest in current affairs, politics, international relations and experience in event management.
