HR Advisor

An outstanding opportunity for one of our clients based in The City has arisen to join their Human Resources team as a HR Advisor. Our client is one of the most prestigious and oldest law firms within the square mile and deals with a huge range of clients.

The role includes a huge amount of benefits such as season ticket loan, private healthcare and dental to name a few, it is based a short walk from either Bank or Liverpool Street train stations. This opportunity will provide an amazing next step for someone in their Human Resources career, its main duties will include generalist HR support to the wider team and manage the payroll in partnership with the Finance Director. Further duties include;

  • Responsible for both permanent and temporary recruitment which shall include producing job descriptions, shortlisting candidates and testing, interviewing candidates and liaising with external agencies
  • Manage monthly payroll
  • To take a lead role and manage the firm's work experience programme and general office placement initiative
  • Work alongside internal business units and manage and maintain the Firms benefits portal
  • Undertake project work where required
  • Manage the company pension scheme
  • Conduct exit interviews for staff and ensure that feedback is communicated where appropriate
  • Assist with the Head of HR when shortlisting and sourcing applications for the internal graduate recruitment programme
  • Assist with ad hoc duties where required

Essential Skills Required;

  • Minimum two years in a HR Administrator role
  • Involvement in Employee Relations
  • Excellent computer skills including core competent skills in Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Superb time management skills to prioritise tasks and workload
  • Ability to work within a team, team player
  • Self-starter and able to think through tasks and complete them in depth
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in HR and Human Resources services
  • Previous experience within a Law or Professional services environment is a must
