6 Month FTC, AML, Risk & Compliance Officer at Prestigious US Law Firm, to £44,000

A fantastic City based US law firm is looking to recruit a new AML, Risk & Compliance Officer to join the London office on an initial 6 month fixed term contract, working closely with the Risk and Compliance Director.  Duties will include predominantly helping with some project work on the AML side, timely completion of AML process for the firm’s clients, including running AML reports, performing Client Due Diligence (CDD) on entities identified through various publicly available and firm sources and liaising with partners to obtain information needed, performing Politically Exposed Person (PEP)/sanctions searches as necessary on natural persons, collecting personal identification and storing securely, updating firm software tools and databases with relevant information in a timely manner, analysing and evaluating AML software tools and databases. Candidates must be educated to a degree level or equivalent and must also have Legal Compliance experience.  Excellent written, oral and organisational skills are also essential to this role, the core hours are 9:30am – 5:30pm.
