Are you looking to start work immediately and work for one of London’s most recognisable Insurance firms? Based in Fenchurch Street, the location is great and the streets filled with plenty of eateries and shops for you to enjoy during your break. My client is now seeking someone to cover the Reception and to join the team as soon as possible. No previous Reception experience is required, however if you do hold 2-3 months experience this will be highly recognised.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will be in charge of the whole reception based on the 3rd floor and it will be down to you how you run your day. All clients and staff who pass through, you will be the first face they see! Its so important to maintaining a strong level of professionalism and greet every individual appropriately. Dealing with a number of tasks at one given time will also be a common occurrence, ensuring you are prioritising your workload accordingly and getting each task completed correctly is very important.

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Answering all calls and issuing passes
  
  
• Informing staff when clients have arrived
  
  
• Booking meeting rooms and conferences
  
  
• Arranging catering requirements upon request
  
  
• Maintaining a clean and tidy reception
  
  
• Dairy management for the team
  
  
• Domestic travel co-ordination
  
  
• Creating log-ins for new starters
  
  
• Ad-hoc administrative duties
  
  
• Distributing post
  
  
• Supporting the team with additional project work

WHO YOU ARE

To be successful, you will have to have a positive attitude and be willing to work hard. This role will be a sole Reception based position, however its important you are wanting to integrate with the team and help out with additional work, when needed.
