Office Manager - temp to perm?

A fantastic (and newly created) opportunity has arisen for a brilliantly efficient, independent, professional and experienced Office Manager to be responsible for the smooth running of the London Office. Key is that you have carried out similar tasks ideally within the Finance industry and have minimum of  8 years + as a dedicated Office Manager. You will:-

  • Work with London office head to ensure a positive, inclusive and fun atmosphere for the London team
  • Manage London office events (monthly lunch, monthly drinks, Summer Party, Christmas party
  • Manage Reception team (3 full time employees) ensuring that visitors and guests receive a first-class welcome
  • Work with business line HR during review and compensation cycle to ensure London team are developed/ compensated fairly
  • Point of contact for Landlord/ building management and any other office related contractors
  • Oversee 'fit out'/design of new chill out area in office
  • Project management for all office moves/refits/refurbs
  • Control of office budgets, contracts, and systems (including office lease, security alarm, cleaning contract, drink/food orders, coffee machines, access keys, travel agency etc.)
  • Manage costs IT equipment/ mobile phones etc
  • Responsible for space planning and providing a best in class work environment for the London office
  • Ensure important information is disseminated to London office via appropriate channels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Recruitment of Assistants & Reception staff

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Efficient, organized, independent professional attitude and strong communication and personal skills
  • Flexible, well-organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), affinity with using other digital tools
  • Experience in working in an international environment; within the financial services (ideally PE or similar) industry or other comparable is considered a benefit.
