LEGAL CREDIT CONTROLLER

A leading London law firm is looking for a credit controller to join the Accounts department reporting to the Financial Controller and Credit Control Manager.

Duties will include 

Proactively and efficiently reduce aged debt in line with company cash collection procedures and targets
Face to face meeting with partners and liaising with other teams regularly to discuss and review balances
Resolving challenging queries and disputes
Allocating unapplied monies as required
Building long term relationships Partners, clients and others with in the Finance team to achieve successful cash collection
Requirements of a Legal Credit Controller

Good knowledge of the Credit Control and debt management process
Experience working within the Legal industry or professional services/ Partnerships highly desirable
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with difficult clients
Ability to work well as a team and build relationships
Flexibility and adaptability in busy periods
This is a 10am to 6pm role.
