Our client is an international mining firm with beautiful offices located in Mayfair looking to hire an Investor Relations specialist with Corporate Responsibility exposure and ideally a minimum of 7-8 years experience. Ideally, you will have English as a first language with Fluent French as well as banking or finance experience. 

Duties include:

Tasks

  • Represent investor relations conferences, road shows and meetings including targeting, outreach and relationship management
  • Support on-going and productive dialogue with analysts and investors to promote my client's story & value proposition
  • Analyse competitor results and messaging as well as the impact of any regulatory changes
  • Work in close collaboration with key internal business leads, including Corporate Responsibility colleagues to execute Investor Relations strategy
  • Identify process gaps impacting the investors and notify appropriate business units and management by monitoring and assessing changes on market conditions
  • Benchmark, synthesize, and communicate internally trends and insights from external sources
  • Support gathering data for the corporate sustainability reporting process

Profile

  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience from a top-tier consulting firm, NGO working with business, or a CSR/sustainability, or investor relations, corporate affairs, or similar role in the private sector
  • An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets and of the culture, strategies, operating units, and customers
  • An excellent understanding of generalist sustainability concepts, including social and environmental standards, sustainability management, reporting and transparency, inclusion and diversity, and/or supply chain
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills, including communicating and marketing sustainability efforts
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills for high-level interaction with other functions
  • Master’s degree preferred (business, environment and/or sustainability)
  • Proactive and results-oriented in a time-sensitive environment
  • Experienced in managing multiple, disparate projects simultaneously
  • Highly analytical, can synthesize information and offer recommendations/solutions
  • Able to work and thrive in a growing, fast-paced entrepreneurial organization within a collaborative environment
  • Fluent in both written and conversational English and in another EU language
  • Willing to travel
