Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Clerk to the Board (Maternity Cover)

12 month Fixed term contract starting August 2019

£36,184 per annum 

 

This role will be based at our New Central London Workspace near Old Street.

This role will provide comprehensive management of administrative and executive services to the Chief Executive and Trustee Board, professionally representing the Chief Executive’s office both internally and externally, including at the highest levels of office.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our dynamic, ambitious team. 

A key part of this role will be your ability to Support the Chief Executive in delivering The Children’s Society’s objectives by effectively managing their day to day business, including effective management of administrative support services, communications and representative systems to and for the Chief Executive.

Key Skills and Competences:

In order to be successful in this role, you must have: 

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role with a proven ability to work effectively at a senior level, gaining trust and confidence with stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience of complex diary management
  • Experience of planning and organising meetings and events, with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience of drafting well written and professional correspondence and communications
