This role will form a critical part of the Commercial team - ensuring the Commercial Director has access to the highest quality and personal service to maximise their input. The Executive Assistant will be an effective first line support for all incoming and outgoing queries, working closely with the Commercial Director to provide exceptional diary management, preparation for meetings and events and complete research on Clients, products and industry events.   

This role will also support the wider team to make sure they are able to deliver great service to clients and patients.

This role covers a variety of duties. Some of which include:
  • To manage the Commercial Director’s time, their diary and appointments
  • Take ownership and manage queries on behalf of the Director
  • Act as the “face” of the Commercial Director providing an efficient, approachable and professional level of service
  • Access and investigate all external correspondence, both post and email, dealing with any queries first hand
  • Ensure the Director receives a summarised version of appropriate internal and external correspondence
  • Act with the utmost integrity, handing all information in a secure way and with absolute confidentiality
  • To collate, prioritise and edit all information and papers required for meetings
  • Research, prepare and approve all presentations for delivery by the Director for both internal and external stakeholders
  • To organise events and liaise with external visitors and promote the professional outlook of the company
  • Coordinate all travel, logistics and all materials needed for meetings
  • Supporting the Commercial teams with ad hoc and planned tasks
The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be commercially astute and be interested in learning more about and performing an integral role within the business.

Specifically, the ideal candidate would have:
  • Extensive experience in a PA or team administrative role
  • Understanding of the medical industry or experience working within healthcare (desirable)
  • Extensive MS Office or equivalent experience
  • Experience working under pressure to prioritise workload on behalf of a Director
  • Excellent team player supporting wider team members as appropriate
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible attitude and respond quickly to change
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, identify key priorities and proactively deal with unexpected issues
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong reporting skills – candidates must be intermediate or above with Excel
  • A clean, valid driving licence
