What would I be doing day to day?
Who am I supporting: Primarily, you are supporting a Head in charge of business development, however you are likely to have interaction with other team directors and members to identify new business opportunities.
Key duties: Responsible for establishing new business partnerships and maintaining existing client relationships, you will be involved in revenue generation and establishing commercial partnerships to support events.
Some of your tasks will include:
- Developing a thorough understanding of the sector to build your knowledge on target customers/clients; conducting market research and understanding market trends
- Budget maintenance: including forecasting and reconciliation
- Preparing contracts and developing pricing strategies
- Promote, sell and actively manage advertising and sponsorship for business opportunities

Qualifications: You must have previous experience of identifying and responding to business opportunities or developing relationships that generate revenue. Ideally you have worked within a business-to-business sales environment and previously presented to external clients. Although not essential, those with a strong academic background are encouraged to apply.
