This is a fantastic opportunity for Client Advisory Assistant to join a highly established and respected international family office to support two of their top Client Advisors in their day-to-day business. A fast-paced and varied role, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including meeting organisation, client liaison and project work, as well as complex document handling.

Based in Central London, you will join a small Family Office of 20 people, and a very close-knit welcoming team. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility required on occasion.

Duties to include:

  • Meeting scheduling: preparing agendas and documentation as required, as well as minute taking and action follow-up.
  • Client liaison and project work as required and directed by Advisors.
  • Drafting and formatting legal and financial documents.
  • Correspondence management and gatekeeping.
  • Update and upkeep of relevant spreadsheets and databases.
  • Undertaking research and preparing drafts of advice for Client Advisors
  • Day to day responsibility for the review, monitoring and processing of internal and external transfers/payment requests for UK
  • General administration and support.
  • Occasional travel internationally, predominantly in Europe.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in either a family office, finance, banking, tax or legal environment
  • A university degree is highly desirable, however not essential.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
  • Sufficient IT-reporting skills to develop a working knowledge of the key client financial reporting data and relevant software
  • A curiosity to develop an understanding of key legal concepts
  • The ability to plan your own work and work independently
  • A self-starter: practical and outcome-focused; you do not require micro-management, but will leverage common sense to work effectively when confronted with ambiguity
  • A highly organised approach, capable of managing deadlines, including checking on medium- and long-term deadlines, action points and follow-up tasks, as well as immediate ones
  • The ability to bring structure and organisation to client work
  • Good interpersonal skills for successful interaction with clients, individuals and groups inside and outside the organisation
  • A strong client focus and service orientation
  • Good team-working skills
  • Solid influencing skills to ensure that deliverables from other parties are on time and of the right quality
