We have available a fantastic opportunity for a talented Middleweight Motion Graphics Designer to join a global professional services organisation based in the City of London.

Working closely with the Creative Services Team, you will advise and implement the best solutions by producing creative digital materials which will enhance the brand. You will be expected to immerse yourself in the house brand and provide professional direction and guidance to the Creative Team. The team are very innovative, and this is a key aspect of the team overall. The client actively encourages new ideas, software and solutions. You must be forward thinking with the ability to change and develop as required. The team are involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from event and campaign material to website designs and digital animation.

You will be working collaboratively alongside the client, members of the Motion Graphics Team, the Creative Director and Management Team, to drive quality and creativity and to help inspire and innovate the creative service offered to the client. You will have a creative focus and be driven to produce high-quality deliverables and solutions within the client brand guidelines. While supporting the Senior Motion Graphics Designer and Team Leader in the development and progression of the less senior designers.

Responsibilities

• Producing digital content including: video editing, 2D and 3D animations, plasma and media wall messages, digital event material for exhibition and conferences
• Keeping up to date in industry developments across web, multimedia and video disciplines and cascading this information to clients and team members
• Taking briefs from clients whilst advising them on the best technical and design solution
• Educating and influencing clients to choose effective and functional designs and deliverables within their timeframes
• Negotiating and manage deadlines
• Following standards and digital guidelines for branded materials - keeping up-to-date with any changes to the brand guidelines
• Providing quotes of time and cost estimates for jobs
• Keeping up to date with software tools and equipment
• Developing and sharing best practice and working knowledge with team members
• Ensuring all quality review checklists are completed and standards are maintained

Key Skills

• At least 3+ years’ experience in 2D & 3D motion graphics and video editing
• Adobe Creative Master Suite - After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
• After Effect plugins
• Full understanding of web formats and video compression standards
• Video post-production, Motion graphics and visual effects techniques
• Understanding of 2D character animation
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects and prioritising accordingly
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
• Strong level of technical and creative design knowledge
• Innovative with the ability to implement problem-solving initiatives
• Keen and eager to learn and develop new skills to support the growth of the team
• An active interest in new industry trends, emerging technologies and innovation
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Calm, mature personality and a professional, confident and enthusiastic team player
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
• A collaborative and proactive approach
