Established, yet expanding, US law firm has created a brand new exciting role in their Research Team as a Research/Information Services Training Specialist covering EMEA.  The firm is looking for applicants who already has experience in the legal industry within a research services/ library environment – however training experience is not essential, it is more important for applicants to be enthusiastic about new software in the research services area and keen to train individuals on this, so previous legal research/library experience or having worked at one of the legal research software companies (e.g. lexis nexis, etc.).  This role will report to the Manager of Training and Outreach Services and duties will include creating and conducting both general (topical) and targeted (by resource or office) training for lawyers, paralegals and business services professionals throughout EMEA, designing and creating collateral for specific products and or research processes and training videos, conducting Research Services inductions for all EMEA lawyers and staff to ensure a proper on-boarding is provided, including training on heavily used resources as well as firm Research Services specific offerings via in-person instructor lead sessions, webinars, or a combination of the two, in conjunction with the Research Services Manager, EMEA and the Manager of Training and Outreach Services, creating and leading the annual training for the London Trainees as well as all training related to seat changes, providing follow-up support to London trainees to ensure user adoption of Research Services sources and services, leading all product trials and rollouts throughout EMEA, including organising and attending training sessions, ensuring usage and adoption of products, and briefing vendors on expectations, providing outreach to Practice Groups and Administrative groups to assess their training needs and deliver customised training when needed, working with the Legal Talent team on training initiatives as needed, organising internal training sessions for Research Services when needed, participating or attending relevant professional seminars to keep informed of the latest training trends, developing new avenues of communication within EMEA practice groups and offices and developing new and innovative ways to partner with EMEA practice groups and offices.  Applicants need to be educated to degree level or equivalent with a minimum 4 years of research/library experience. This firm is housed in stunning City offices.
