This award-winning, renowned and ever-evolving International law firm are seeking a multifaceted, ‘switched on’ and super-organised Legal PA to support the Partners and Counsel within the high-performing Capital Markets team. The environment is fast-paced and demanding that requires a resilient, forward-thinking Legal PA with strong gatekeeping skills and the ability to spin plates simultaneously and be on top of their game. Working with high-profile clientele, Executives and Senior Partners often on confidential projects and data, the Legal PA will need to exhibit excellent communication skills and first-rate customer service. In return, the firm promotes professional development, fabulous training and plenty of opportunity for scope whilst encouraging team collaboration. The ideal Legal PA will have previous Banking, Corporate, Finance or Capital Markets experience within a top tier law firm.

As a Legal PA, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out Executive Assistant duties including the organisation and preparation of materials for large (global) events / away days / conferences as necessary (by telephone, Skype for Business or face to face as appropriate)
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects
  • Diary management – arranging meetings, liaising with clients, prioritising and rescheduling meetings as appropriate (must be able to anticipate partner’s needs in scheduling diary), collating and circulating papers and agendas for meetings
  • Email assistance and management when required
  • Fielding phone queries, acting as a gatekeeper to the Partner(s), dealing with requests or passing them onto the relevant person as appropriate and managing confidential data
  • Co-ordination of travel arrangements, booking flights, hotels, arranging currency, taxis and compiling a folder of documents for trips as necessary and processing expenses
  • Managing billing working practices, liaising with credit control, dealing with PO numbers and WIP updates

Personal Competencies:

​You will need to be able to demonstrate previous Senior PA experience, exhibiting utmost discretion and confidentiality, strong commercial awareness and the ability to act as a ‘gatekeeper’ in this demanding, diverse and stimulating role. You will deliver a high-quality, seamless support service and be steps ahead of the game. You will also have:

  • Previous Legal PA experience of working in a fast-paced environment within Banking, Finance or Corporate
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise conflicting workloads and be able to work as part of a team
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 60-65wpm
