Team Administrator - Health and Safety division

Up to £30k

Our client is a leading property consultancy based in the City. A position has arisen for their property management arm, for a Health and Safety Team Administrator to join the team.

This person will provide high quality central administrative support to the Health and Safety Team. They will create and administer health, safety and environmental department correspondence using advanced Word skills.

The successful candidate will build trusting and mutually respectful relationships with peers, internal teams, external consultancies and across the wider business. They must have excellent attention to detail, typing, excel and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating, updating and administration of HSE procedures, policies and documentation, correspondence, emails and e-bulletins
  • Administering, tracking and reconciling the departmental the HSE budget including PO's, invoicing and payments
  • Ensure the central online health and safety management systems are simplified, up to date, easily navigated with up to date documents for users and an archive system maintained
  • Create regular reports using excel data as required by the HSE team
  • Liaise with external consultants to arrange meetings and take minutes for the HSE Director and Head of HSE
  • Administer all associated correspondence in relation to the ongoing changes/improvements of company safety and environmental management system
  • Coordinate meetings and steering groups to increase HSE awareness and engagement
  • Arrange and manage the annual training requirements and programmes across the UK including evaluation of effectiveness to ensure employees are competent with regard to their health, safety and environmental duties
  • Management and monitoring of HSE training system to ensure all training courses are available and completed in accordance with the Company's core HSE training matrix

Key Skills/Experience;

  • Excellent Word and Excel skills and eye for details, grammar and spelling
  • Ability to understand and analyse information
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Customer and service oriented both internal and external
  • Able to work effectively alone and as part of a multi-functional UK wide team
  • Competent IT skills
