Our client is currently seeking a self motivated new team member to join them as a Finance Manager

Who you will be working for

You will be working for a specialist business consultancy with expertise in the utilities and the energy sector. This company is a specialist market design, governance and assurance services provider engaging the core of the UK's energy, environment and water sectors. What will you be doing?

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly management accounts are prepared
• Update quarterly forcasts
• Lead on the delivery of month end payroll process
• Prepare year-end financial statements
• Lead and manage one direct report
• Delivery high quality financial reporting and commercial analysis

About you.

• You will have a recognised accountancy qualification
• Be proactive and willing to take accountability and responsibility for deliverables
• Experience working in a commercial finance team
• Knowledge and understanding of VAT and corporation tax rules
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
