Confidential role working for an international conglomerate, based in their Dubai Office.  This is a young dynamic team, working on multiple projects globally across multiple sectors.  Whilst one office is based in Dubai, the Founder travels frequently throughout Europe, APAC and USA, and we are seeking an outstanding EA to support his whole life to an extremely high level.

As a global conglomerate, many of our projects are in their early stages of maturity and we are seeking someone who has operated in that space.  Given that some of our clients are leaders in technology, e-commerce and financial institutions, we expect you to hold the polish and business acumen to represent our group at the highest level.

The role:

We are looking for a superstar to ensure the smooth running of a dynamic, multi-cultural and fast-growing office through a range of administrative, customer servicing, financial and managerial tasks. The candidate must have a strong demonstrated work history as EA to entrepreneurial HNW or C-level executives, whilst effortlessly leading from the front to run a smart and forward-thinking office environment.

Daily, you will seamlessly manage support staff, but your utmost priority is absolutely flawless support of the Founder. This will expose you to multiple projects and business assistant requirements, ultimately being his right hand, once you have embedded and whipped the office, processes and technological needs into shape.  You will have a good understanding of business strategy and company culture and be able to switch hats in any moment to tend to the needs of various clients and sectors.

Working under pressure is essential. This is not a role for the faint-hearted. You are self-organised, dynamic and all-in!  Whilst every effort is made to give as much work-life balance as possible, we are looking for someone who makes work their passion. You must be in love with the work we do! You will be called upon out of hours and will take pride in solving problems, on the spot to take the pressure from the Founder.

Your charisma and networking skills will shine through and are essential as we embark on the journey of cultural connectivity with global offices at this next stage of our maturity.  Your role is to create and maintain a great work environment ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness within the office and communication amongst employees and all stakeholders across the Board. 

Who are we looking for:

• UK & UAE Experience – Calling all returners to Dubai!
• Strong, demonstrated 5-years+ as EA to Founder in an international startup environment
• Mature candidates, with people management experience
• Extremely high emotional intelligence
• Robust and able to navigate through ambiguity and stressful situations
• Knowledge of complex diary management, general office management, administration systems and procedures
• High-level proficiency and command of MS Suite (+Google preferable)
• Tech savvy providing new solutions for efficiency
• Excellent verbal and written English business communication skills
• Working knowledge of the UK Culture and international experience is a plus
• Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment
• Attention to detail and proactive, problem-solving skills
• A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
• BA in Business Administration or other preferred
• Work experience in Legal, Property, Finance, Hospitality/Service sector a high plus factor
• Startup experience highly desirable
