Temp Couple Job

Temporary Couple required for family holiday home on the edge of Lake Como, to start mid-June until the start of September.

The house will be used by various members of the family over the summer months – a caretaker is employed who lives in the next village as well as a Gardener who speak very good English who will be able to help. The house is right on the edge of the lake with 170 steps down from the roadside car park to the house so applicants must be able to cope with this.

The client is looking for one to be a Cook, and one to be Housekeeper/Host and to generally muck in with everything including cleaning the bathrooms and bedrooms and waiting at table. The Couple must have initiative, charming personalities, great references and be highly responsible. Catering for a mixture of age groups - some weeks lots of 20 year olds, some weeks lots of 60 year olds etc - so differing catering needs required each week. There will be times when the clients are not there. If you have experience with boats it would be an advantage as there will be boat maintenance and trips out.

You will generally be working a 6 day week catering for 3 meals a day to include an “uncooked” breakfast, light lunch and a light evening meal alternating from canapés, main course & pudding to starter, main course and petit fours.

Accommodation: (separate flat), travel and food etc provided by the client.
 
Rate: £800 per week combined
