Salary: £28-32K dependent on sales experience
Central London - near Chancery Lane
Shift pattern (8hr shifts): Monday – Wednesday 7am-3pm
Thursday – Friday 11am-7pm
Chronicle Club
A brand-new sophisticated business club exclusively for professionals within the legal and financial sectors will be opening its doors close to Chancery Lane.
Adjoined to the newly built and modern Chronicle Hotel and gastro pub, 26 Furnival Street; the Chronicle Club is a peaceful space for its members to read over their briefs, book meetings and have a comfortable, private place in the city to get their work done.
We are looking for a driven and confident Club Manager who will have strong sales experience. The right candidate will have an adaptable and flexible approach to the varied workload and be happy to work independently as well as being the point of contact for the rest of the receptionist team. This is a brand-new business membership club; giving the right individual an exciting opportunity to put their own stamp on the role and the chance to be a part of creating the procedures to ensure a first-class service to all members and potential clients.
Responsibilities Include:
- Meet and greet members
- Maintaining client / member relationships
- Actively and creatively sell memberships, as well as encouraging the reception team to sell.
- Meet new membership sales targets
- Manage a list of potential members
- Collate and update confidential membership information and records.
- Produce sales reports
- Staff management; responsible for preparation of staff rotas and being the channel of communication to head office
- Giving new / potential member tours
- Meeting room diary management
- Ensure the smooth day to day running of the club
- Assisting members with enquires
- Liaise with cleaners to ensure a high standard is kept
- Reactive maintenance management
- H&S awareness and checks
Requirements:
Someone who isn’t work shy and able to implement procedures with ease as well as manage a small team. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic and an extremely high level of attention to detail, they’ll be able to think on their feet and have a modern and fresh approach (to managing the newly open club.)
Strong sales experience is essential, preferably in hospitality.
Some pre-opening experience would give you an advantage as there may be some initial project management involved in the first few weeks of setting up.
