Shift pattern (8hr shifts): Week 1: 16 hours, 11am-7pm

                                             Week 2: 24 hours, 7am-3pm

 

Expected to be able to cover for holiday/ sickness.

 

Chronicle Club

A brand-new sophisticated business club exclusively for those in the legal and financial sectors will be opening its doors close to chancery lane.

Adjoined to the beautiful Chronicle Hotel and quirky gastro pub 26 Furnival Street; the Chronicle Club is a peaceful space for its members to read over their briefs, book meetings and have a comfortable, private place in the city to get their work done.

We are building a new team and looking for a bright, professional and enthusiastic individual who is happy working in a small reception team and is willing to get involved with a ‘no job is too small’ attitude. The perfect candidate for this role will have previous reception experience and be comfortable meeting and greeting the corporate clientele.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Meeting and greeting members
  • Answering the phone  
  • Responding to any enquiries over the phone or via email
  • Ensuring the club is kept spotless; this will involve light tidying and collecting used cups/ loading the dishwasher
  • Sorting incoming and outgoing post
  • Managing meeting room bookings, including all requested catering needs
  • Completing ad hoc duties such as ordering, printing and filing
  • Booking taxis and couriers if members require
  • Giving detailed handovers to the Club Manager

What we are looking for: 

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and outgoing individual
  • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Exceptional phone manner
  • Previous receptionist experience isn’t essential but preferable
  • Good written and verbal communication
