A prestigious US law firm situated in stunning City based offices, is looking to hire a new Junior HR Coordinator/Assistant to join them on a permanent basis, coordinating the recruitment and orientation processes and administration of processes and procedures across generalist HR.  The role will also involve providing administrative support to the Secretarial Manager with issues including managing cover and absences, coordinating the performance review process and general secretarial support as required.  Responsibilities will include working alongside the Senior HR Coordinators to monitor calls/voicemails to helpline and manage all emails sent to HR ensuring they are acknowledged and actioned immediately, responding to basic reference and employee information requests, collating information for the HR report, scanning and filing of documentation to electronic files, performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained, managing HR management team diaries, arranging departmental meetings and booking conferences, inputting invoices and expenses onto Chrome River and managing any queries, booking accommodation and office space for visitors, partaking in ad-hoc project work, arranging staff training at the request of the HR management team, managing applications through CV mail, updating candidates through the process and inputting interview feedback, liaising with agencies and hiring managers/teams to set up interviews, coordinating schedules with applicants and interviewers, creating appointments and booking rooms, sending interview confirmations and reconciling interview cancellations and changes, managing conflicts clearance for required positions, creating induction schedules and associated meeting invites and room set ups, and updating and preparing new joiner packs.  You will also be required to liaise with Senior HR Coordinators and HR Operations on leaver administration for letters, managing exit interview documents and setting up exit interviews.  Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR within a law firm, excellent time management, organisational and communication skills and strong experience of using Microsoft Office and HR systems.  Candidates who are also CIPD qualified would be extremely advantageous, however not essential.
