Team Assistant to Sales and Trading Floor

Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf are seeking an experienced Float Team Assistant to join an extremely fast paced and exciting Trade Floor on an ongoing temporary basis.

You will be a pro active individual who is able to assist with duties including multiple diary management, booking and arranging complex travel and arranging visa's, assisting with meeting preparation, creating PowerPoint presentations and liaising with external clients. You will also be in charge of the reconciliation of expenses, ordering office supplies and equipment and providing cover as necessary for the other assistants in this area. This is a fast paced and demanding area, but will be hugely rewarding for someone looking to sink their teeth into this position. As a Float you will be covering holiday and sickness across the Sales & Trading floor.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience in a similar position, ideally within the wider Financial/Professional Services area
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Confidence to communicate at all organisational levels
• Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken
• Able to work in a team environment and under pressure
• Able to prioritise a variety of time-sensitive tasks with ease

You must be able to interview and start immediately and will be looking for a long term temporary position.
