As the global WOW - Women of the World movement enters its next chapter, an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to support The WOW Foundation’s Founder & Director, Jude Kelly. This is a high level secretarial, administrative and project support role in a small, start-up team, for an ambitious and organised individual to ensure the effective management of a varied portfolio.

Predominantly based with and responsible for Director’s work developing TWF, the EA role will also support across the diverse range of projects delivered through Jude Kelly Studios (responsible for work, practice and activity independent of TWF), in addition to executive support for a number of trusteeship and committee roles.

This is a new team. The WOW Foundation was established in May 2018 to lead the development and delivery of WOW - Women of the World festivals and programmes around the globe. WOW is dedicated to building, convening and sustaining a movement of women, girls, men and boys who believe a gender equal world is both desirable and possible. Founded in 2010 at Southbank Centre in London when Jude Kelly was Artistic Director, there have been over 65 WOW festivals in over 30 locations, reaching over 2 million people.

This is a high profile Executive Assistant role, operating within a small team in a busy, fast-moving working environment. The successful candidate will be a confident thinker, highly organised, and have the ability to balance different and competing priorities effectively.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

This role will be working in a fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to thrive on working to tight deadlines and be comfortable juggling multiple tasks and competing priorities at the same time. You’ll often have to think on your feet and be prepared to troubleshoot issues. To excel in this role, you’ll have strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Experience

  • Experience of logistically managing meetings including taking minutes
  • Experience of prioritising workload and working autonomously
