Role: Studio Manager for High-End Luxury Interior Design Firm
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
Location: Chelsea, London
Salary: £35-50k p/a
A high-profile interior design studio is looking for an excellent Studio Manager to join their team in Central London.
The high-end, up and coming interior design studio, who works across a variety of exciting interior projects is currently looking for a highly experienced Studio Manager. Their work is recognised for its bespoke and unique tailored approach.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective and smooth running of the studio. The ideal person for this role will be someone who will thrive working in a lively environment of creatives and a hard-working team player who can support their team to meet targets and deadlines. Someone who is highly organised and who will represent and be the face of the studio. You must have previous experience in HR, payroll, budgeting, staff appraisals, and in the organisation of events.
Previous experience working in a design firm or similar environment is a must, and additional experience in international high-profile companies or the luxury market is advantageous. You will have exceptional communication written and verbal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure, you will be highly organised with strong prioritising skills, able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally. Excellent IT skills are a must.
Duties include:
- Ensuring the general management and smooth running of the studio on a day to day basis
- Excellent communication and management of suppliers
- Liaising with high profile clients and ensuring effective relationship management while fulfilling their demanding requirements
- To manage the administration of design projects
- HR management - payroll, budgeting, staff appraisals, and able to curate events.
- Office management and organisation – keeping office presentable at all times, ordering stationary and supplies
- Administrative duties – answering calls, meeting and greeting with clients, etc.
- Marketing activities - Drafting company newsletters and updating website
- IT support – managing printers, troubleshooting, managing subscriptions, keeping licenses up to date, etc.
- Finance – liaise with accountants, client invoicing, managing expenses
- Digital filing and folder management – Dropbox, Google Drive, Database servers
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a studio or similar environment
- Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
- Have excellent contactable references
