We are looking for multiple system analysts for an 18-month contract, working for a government body in Guildford.

Role purpose

To implement and configure new technology as part of the transformation programme to deliver improved digital services (internal and external), enable channel shift objectives and more efficient business processes in line with documentation provided by the Service Redesign team.

Responsibilities and duties

*To support the implementation of new digital solutions, such as CRM
*To support the development of a corporate help desk solution for all internal support services
*To develop working prototypes of digital customer journeys
*To take documentation produced by the Service Redesign team, work closely with the team and staff from across the business to understand and interpret the functional and technical requirements and build end-to-end digital processes.
*To work with colleagues in Service Redesign, web and communications teams
*To configure CRM and case management tools to create joined up views of customer and case data to support the work of multi-skilled customer service and case management teams and the principle of a central/master customer record.
*To build mobile workflows/workflow stages
*To support the delivery of new system integrations and to use established API's
*To carry out peer reviews and technical testing of new e-forms and workflows
*To carry out data analysis, mapping and cleansing activities.
*To build management reports and dashboards using a range of reporting tools
*To support the delivery of transformation technology projects as needed

Person Specification

Skills and Attributes

*Information Technology qualifications or professional body membership
*Strong SQL and data management skills, including defining data structures, mapping data between systems, data extracts, imports and manipulation.
*Critical thinking, logic skills and ability to solve complex problems
*Ability to positively engage with staff across the business, using non-technical language, to clarify and refine business requirements.
*Ability to quickly understand new technologies and translate their functionality, such that optimal solutions can be applied to business processes
*Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
*Professional at all times, using a proactive and collaborative approach

Knowledge

*Web services, APIs, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON
*General understanding of business applications and web technologies including SSL, DNS, IIS, , databases, networks and telephony
*Knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) design patterns and best practice in the development of online public services

Experience

*Experience of taking business requirement documentation including workflow diagrams, use cases and user stories and translating into technical solutions
*Experience of implementing and/or configuring business applications, ideally CRM, E-forms and/or Workflow
*Experience with large IT systems, data migration and / or integrations between software applications
*Experience of working in a project environment

Desirable

*Experience working for a local government body
