Major Players have a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Office Manager to look after a modern and vibrant office in Canary Wharf. We are looking for a person who will ensure the smooth operation of the office and pro-actively support this rapidly growing organisation.

This role reports directly to COO and we are looking for someone who will treat the office like their home! This Office Manager will have the confidence to manage a busy office with a lot of different personalities and also have the drive to make improvements to the look and feel to ensure it is a great place to work!

The Office Manager role is extremely varied with responsibilities including:

  • Being the go-to person in the office
  • H&S
  • Facilities management
  • Enforcing clear desk policy
  • Onboarding/inductions of new starters
  • IT support
  • Managing contractor and supplier relationships
  • Ordering stationery and supplies
  • Meeting and greeting visitors - client facing
  • Logistics
  • Internal events management- working closely with internal stakeholders and caterers
  • Light PA support

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous office management/facilities experience
  • Strong and resilient personality
  • Modern approach to office management
  • Tech savvy
  • Professional and confident
  • Helpful "people-person" with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Well presented with excellent telephone manner and strong, professional voice
  • First class attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Office and IT skills
