Tiger Private has taken on a brand new role for an experienced Executive/Private Chef to run the kitchen and catering team for a private family based in Ajman, Dubai. This is a wonderful opportunity to take on a live in position, supporting a lovely, high profile, but informal family.

The role:
  • Cooking for 9 family members including children (youngest age is 9)
  • Providing a varied buffet style international lunch and dinner including gluten free and low fat/salt options (you must also be able to make sushi!)
  • Making deserts for dinner
  • Meal planning
  • This member of staff will have a Kitchen assistant and their own Kitchen
  • There are also other Chefs providing food for other members of the household/teams who this person will manage – they are all very helpful
  • You will be working Sunday to Friday with 1.5 days off a week (Friday afternoon and Saturdays)
  • Hours are 9.00am to 7.30pm with a two hour break
 
About you:
  • You must be fit, hard-working, a team player and happy to be working and living in this quiet part of Dubai
  • You will have previous Private Chef experience and/or experience of running a Kitchen will be preferable
  • A driver is essential
  • You must have fabulous check-able references
  • You will preferably have a degree or Diploma in Food and Beverage Management, Culinary Arts or similar
 Package:
  • 18,000 AED per month
  • Accommodation with bills included – this is a 2 room (one bedroom/one living room/ own bathroom) with a large shared Kitchen only used by you
  • 30 days paid holiday
  • 1 annual return flight home provided per year
  • If considered for the role, there will be a paid trail taking place after Ramadan
