A leading global professional services firm in the City is looking for an Executive Assistant to support their Global Chief Marketing Officer.
This is a unique position that works alongside the Global Marketing Team, principally supporting the Chief Marketing Officer.
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who relishes this type of role. This is a high profile Executive Assistant role working as the central point of contact for the global partnership when it comes to marketing and branding within the business.
The Chief Marketing Officer has a global team and a huge remit so there will be a major international focus for the Executive Assistant within this role. They are looking for an EA who is accustomed to working across times zones and booking extensive international travel.
The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills in particular PowerPoint and In-design. A good eye for design would be great with a creative flair! Huge scope for involvement within marketing for the right candidate!
Key Executive Assistant duties:
- Support the Global Chief Marketing Officer to deliver her role in the business
- Connect with the marketing team and the marketing agenda helping deliver their objectives
- Connecting with the global and supplier stakeholders to ensure marketing delivery
- To work to support some marketing projects where applicable. There is scope to develop in this area
- Ensure board papers are produced in a timely fashion; liaising with team and designers
- Produce PowerPoint presentation and supporting material
- Arrange international flights, itineraries and prepare travel packs
- Any other projects that need to be delivered
- Complete inbox management and gatekeeping
- Proactive diary ownership and management
- Manage team holidays to ensure there is appropriate cover
- Plan and project manage the Team Away Day and internal events
- Ordering Christmas cards for the company
- Keep duplicate financial records for UK and Global Marketing expenditure as spreadsheets
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience within professional services and ideally have supported a senior marketing professional. Looking for a highly proactive and skilled Executive Assistant with excellent people skills and excellent organisation skills. Must have experience dealing with multiple stakeholder management with some complex client/external facing aspects to your position.
Key skills:
- Ability to prioritise, be proactive, think ahead and anticipate any problems
- Ability to provide solutions that are client focused
- Constructive approach to problem solving and ability to think laterally
- Acute attention to detail ensuring work is produced accurately and of the highest possible standard
- Excellent time management skills; able to manage multiple, conflicting and shifting priorities and unforeseen change
- Confident managing executives, their workload/calls/tasks and deadlines pre-empting any potential issues
- Thrive in a fast paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite, in particular Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and to a lesser degree Excel. Experience with databases preferred. A knowledge of InDesign helpful
- A comfort with digital activity – willingness to learn
- Good visual eye to produce presentations
