Our client, a major arts institution, requires a Development Officer. This is a temporary position which is expected to last for two months and is paying £13-14 p/h plus holiday pay.

Main duties of this Development Officer position are:

  • Organising, collating agendas and minuting committee meetings
  • Undertaking donor research
  • Managing expenses and reports
  • Updating the donor database
  • Overseeing departmental administration including renewal letters and mailouts

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, and ideally have some experience of working in fundraising/at a charity and have an interest in the arts. You need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to deliver excellent customer experience to a range of individuals and stakeholders, have strong organisation and research skills and able to manage a varied workload. You need to be a team player and be Microsoft Office and Outlook proficient. Previous experience using Raiser's Edge is preferred.
