Senior Ecommerce Manager (Retail accounts) - Leading Digital Agency (60k - 65k)
Our client is looking for a Senior Ecommerce Manager to join a fantastic digital agency in central london working across their retail accounts. The main purpose of the Ecommerce & is firstly to drive traffic to the UK website through effective search, email marketing and managing affiliates and then ensure that the customer experience on the sites is optimised to drive conversion.
As their Senior Ecommerce Manager you will also be responsible for managing the UK database to support the development of improved CRM programmes, becoming a centre of excellence across their retail accounts.
As the Ecommerce Manager you will need to be an expert in your field and will be able to use previous experiences to help shape and drive the Ecommerce & CRM agenda in the UK. You will need to be adept at relationship building with internal and external clients, and a strong, decisive manager.
The Ecommerce Manger will be accountable for the following Key Duties:
Naturally you will have strong expertise of ecommerce disciplines, channels and platforms and trong expertise of all digital marketing disciplines, channels and platforms.

The Ecommerce Manger will be accountable for the following Key Duties:
- Driving Traffic
- Lead a team of 3 managing an effective and synergistic digital marketing programme, working closely with external agencies to build and implement plans for paid search (PLAs, RSLAs), SEO optimisation, affiliates and emails for the benefit of all sales channels (website, direct sales and retail) for Europe.
- Explore 3rd party Ecommerce growth opportunities as a way to reach new customers that we find more difficult to access.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing to ensure these communications strike a balance between achieving sales targets and delivering an exceptional brand experience on site.
- Responsible for the UK database of customer information and the options it provides for building customer loyalty.
- Lead CRM projects and capabilities for the UK.
- Collaborate with Global team to refine the existing e-mail programme to become targeted and relevant to different customer groups.
- Provide monthly reporting of sales performance; develop annual plans and prepare quarterly forecasts. Also provide reports monitoring the effectiveness of traffic driving activities, performance on the sites and CRM/ direct marketing campaigns
