Ad-hoc Reception Work

Your new company
We work with a wide variety of clients in both the public and private sector and regularly supply single days to a couple of weeks reception cover across the Bristol area. Working across such a wide variety of companies will give you the opportunity to develop your skills as a receptionist and give you the opportunity to meet many different people both working for the companies and visiting the offices.

Your new role
The general duties of a receptionist include the following:

• Meeting and greeting visitors to the site
• Receiving phone calls from external customers and clients
• Using a switchboard to transfer these calls to the appropriate individual
• Providing occasional catering support
• Dealing with meeting and room bookings as well as potentially consulting diary arrangements
• There may be some adhoc administrative duties with regards to car parking etc

What you'll need to succeed

• You should have a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
• You will have excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone
• Experience of using a switchboard is highly preferred
• You will have a professional demeanour and be able to present yourself in such a way that reflects the company's policy and professionalism - you will usually be the first point of contact for many clients, customers, and visitors
• You should have good customer service skills and enjoy working with and meeting new people

What you'll get in return
You will receive an hourly rate of around £9 per hour.
