Team Secretary/Administrator - Accountancy - City of London

Our client is a well known, successful, accountancy firm.

Description

Our client is a well known, successful accountancy firm, looking to recruit a permanent Team Secretary/Administrator to support a team of Managers. Duties will include:

  • Booking meetings and meeting rooms.
  • Preparing Managers with any documents or paperwork needed, for each meeting.
  • Arranging client lunches and/or dinners, and other events.
  • Taking minutes in meetings (training will be given).
  • General administration duties - typing letters, formatting documents, filing, scanning, printing, modifying documents, photocopying.
  • Assisting with the administration of billing new and existing clients.
  • Answering phone calls on behalf of the team, taking accurate messages and dealing with general enquiries.
  • Doing cheque requisitions.
  • Coding invoices.
  • Searching Companies House and Land Registry websites for information.
  • Preparing and raising invoices.
  • Setting up new client records on the database and updating client information.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previously worked as an Administrator, or Team Administrator/Secretary or Legal Secretary
  • Have a secretarial or CILEx qualification
  • Have excellent organisational, time management and multi tasking skills
  • Be a good team player.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise at all levels.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Job Offer

On offer is a salary of £23,000 - £27,000 + fantastic benefits package. Hours are 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
