We have a fantastic opportunity with a film production agency at the forefront of their industry, as they are looking for a marketing manager for a 12-month, maternity cover. Working with clients from many varied disciplines and based in the heart of London, you would be part of the daily operations, helping to successfully implement marketing and communications projects for the company and their clients.

You will be a results-oriented self-starter, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and enjoy working in a multi-task, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven environment. Creativity, initiative, and organisational skills are essential. Must be proactive, positive, and a team player.

A part of your role will be to manage the marketing executive and monitor their work as well as supporting them.

Desired experience and skills are:

  • 5 years minimum digital marketing experience
  • Managerial experience
  • Interest in film
  • Social media knowledge & experience
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft office and familiarity with design programmes such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Strong writing / proof-reading skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritise, multi-task, and work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Details of your role are as follows:

Digital

  • Maintain content on two websites via Wordpress
  • Maintain web presence and search engine optimisation
  • Responsible for all online marketing and promo campaigns from strategy to execution through to evaluation for The Edge

Social

  • Maintain social media strategy across - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Daily updates across all platforms
  • Regular interaction with followers
  • Promo campaigns

Strategy & Branding

  • Responsible for executing and evaluating marketing activities, events, advertising, PR and promotional activities - nationally and internationally
  • Plan and execute internal communications

Promotion

  • Create marketing collateral in conjunction with designer as required – both digital and print-based
  • Responsible for all promo campaigns to clients and prospects
  • Advert creation/design, plans, bookings and negotiation
  • Research, design, write and distribute mail-outs and newsletters
  • Responsible for national and international award submissions

PR

  • Manage any activities with press
  • Pursue & anticipate frequent, timely and positive media coverage
  • Write and distribute press releases, press kits, brochures and newsletters
