Superb entry level Administrator role

Initially 6 months…BUT this firm have continued to grow for the last decade so it's highly likely there'll be a permanent seat ready and waiting at the end.

Salary up to £21,000 - great benefits (not that they'll matter when you're working at a firm like THIS!)

Based in the City, this firm offers fantastic exposure to a Corporate environment without the associated 'stuffiness' - the Partner's even leave their doors open!

This Administrator role represents an opportunity work in a bustling department and work closely with the current Legal Secretaries and PAs there. Don't worry though, the Fee Earners are quite self-sufficient and will do a bulk of the typing - YOUR job will be to ensure the smooth running of the office in the background.

*Elite or 3E experience is highly desirable!
*Booking Counsel
*Contacting all relevant parties
*Arranging Venue bookings
*Briefing Counsel - bundles preparation
*Diary Management
*Excel Spreadsheet data management; input; logging; merging and reporting the data as required
*Answering and filtering telephone calls: liaising with external and internal clients and their secretaries; monitoring voicemail; dealing with queries and relaying messages
*Incoming correspondence: opening/distributing post; dealing with mail-related queries; distributing faxes; electronically scanning and saving post items to document management system
*Outgoing correspondence: sending faxes; organising Royal Mail, DX and couriers, to ensure it is ready for the appropriate collection times
*Photocopying/printing: printing documents from email/disk/USB; preparing bundles/files and/or binding; photocopier maintenance and arranging engineer call-outs if required
*Client filing: maintaining electronic and paper client files; indexing; trial bundles; bibling; archiving including arranging collections and retrievals from the off-site archive company
*Undertaking other administrative tasks as required
*Communication: maintaining open and appropriate communication lines with internal and external clients at all times to ensure the firm's needs are met
*Prioritisation: managing and prioritising own workload to ensure work is turned around within agreed deadlines and timeframes
*Excellent organisational skills
*Ability to organise a varied workload and prioritise tasks to meet agreed deadlines
*Excellent communication skills
*Self motivated, pro-active and able to use own initiative
*Good attention to detail
*Ability to be calm and retain a professional attitude under pressure
