Our prestigious US law firm client is looking for junior IT professionals who are looking for that next step in their career in this newly created position.  This role will be working as a Technical Support Specialist, joining the existing IT and being responsible for responding to, solving or escalating issues with hardware, software and other technologies utilized by end users. This role will be working very closely with the London Office Technology Support Manager and also working on a month by month shift basis working the hours of 8.30am – 4.30pm or 10.30am – 6.30pm. Logging all incoming incidents and requests as well as actions taken to resolve them, responding to incident and request escalations from Help Desk and provide technical assistance to end users, assisting in telecom phone setup using Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection to create extensions/voice mail and modify users’ phones when requested, managing and maintain technology equipment inventory in asset management system, diagnosing complex technical issues and involve appropriate resources to speed problem resolution, providing follow-up status to end users in accordance with specified support policies and procedures, maintaining and manage videoconference equipment in conference rooms, and initiate requests for video conference meetings, maintaining strong knowledge of third party video conference systems: Blue Jeans, and GoTo meeting, maintaining and improve knowledge of Firm-supported tools, applications and hardware, increasing personal knowledge of Firm’s business environment with the goal of improving overall business alignment. Previous law firm experienced would be desirable but not essential, candidates must have prior experience of 1st/2nd line support within a professional services environment.  Applicants need at least 12 months experience.  This firm offers an enhanced benefits package plus are housed in some of the most stunning offices in London.
