A leading project and construction management consultancy based in Central London is looking for a Team Assistant to join a dynamic team. Looking for a minimum of two years’ experience working in a support role, the role would suit someone with creative flair and ideally some marketing exposure. Alongside the standard support duties the role will encompass production of PowerPoint presentations and bids using Adobe InDesign. You must have excellent PowerPoint skills and ideally some exposure to Adobe InDesign although training will be given.

As Team Assistant you will support busy Equity Partners and the wider team and duties will include:

  • Copy typing of outgoing correspondence for Partners and team
  • Formatting of reports, submissions, meeting minutes
  • Assisting the team with collation of project related invoices and submitting these to the Client for payment.
  • Producing presentations using Adobe InDesign and PowerPoint
  • Producing submissions using Adobe InDesign
  • Arranging appointments and electronic diary management for Partners using Microsoft Outlook
  • Booking travel and accommodation for Partners and team using online travel system
  • Maintaining filing system consisting of various project and fee files
  • Setting up conference calls
  • Organising team social events, including annual Christmas party
  • Being the first point of contact for all manner of queries including absences, couriers, contracts, stationery, formatting etc.

Skills

  • At least 2 years work experience
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office, particularly Windows 7
  • Adobe InDesign experience preferred
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload
  • Friendly, polite and helpful manner
  • Proactive team player with a flexible “can do” attitude
