Rapidly growing marketing firm based in central London, has a unique and newly created requirement for an Operations / Business Manager to completely manage the smooth running of the day to day company operations and provide support to a highly disorganised (but very charming) founding partner.

Due to the company growth the firm now require an Operations / Business Manager who will eventually become part of the senior leadership team. This is an extremely diverse role, working within a fast paced environment that will fully utilise your wonderful organisation, PA, management and decision making skills. No two days will be the same!

Responsibilities overview:

  • Support: providing support to the founding partner, organising meetings, travel, producing presentations, document management and responding independently to correspondence and emails
  • Operations: third party supplier relations, project management, client and internal events coordination, finance management, managing future office moves, full contract management, first point of contact for all operations queries and attending senior partner meetings
  • HR & Recruitment: liaising with recruitment providers, amending contracts, interviewing candidates, communicating with the wider HR team, dealing with payroll issues and coordinating the benefits scheme.

This is not a ‘traditional’ role.............you would have gained a wealth of support and management experience within a fast paced environment and enjoy taking on additional tasks, being able to (eventually) make independent business decisions and have a proven track record of ‘making things happen’. You will be accomplished manager able to lead, coach and support. You will take the lead with the implementation, budget management and reporting and ensure company values are maintained.

The role would suit someone who enjoys the variety of a multifaceted role, is able take on additional projects, while working in a very collaborative environment. Sense of humour and wonderful communication skills is a must for this firm!
