Seeking a proactive, dedicated EA to support a dynamic, jet setting entrepreneurial Lawyer. 

The role will be diverse, demanding and constantly challenging and you will be responsible for arranging every element of his personal life and some business. 

The pace will be fast and ever changing and you will need to be a jack of all trades, able to juggle multiple balls and turn your hand to anything that is asked of you. Only the very best calibre of candidate will be considered, but personality is equally as important here.  

The client is looking for a confident, amiable, happy character with a good sense of humour, who will act as an ambassador with the VIPs and dignitaries that you will be dealing with. There is scope to develop the role and take on projects and progress. 

The ideal candidate would be a strategic thinker who also has a knack for taking care of the details, and who can work autonomously while involving client in key decisions and the progress.  Follow up is key in this position ensuring nothing can slip through the net. 

Experience with accounting / banking is essential, as is general tech savviness and proficiency with Mac and MS products.  

This role is not for the faint hearted and would suit a candidate with no personal, or outside commitments.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing and coordinating of household staff (based in USA)
  • Managing all personal and business finances, including invoices, bank accounts, expenses, US tax returns
  • Liaising with bankers, accountant and wealth advisers
  • Organising celebrations and events
  • Liaising with clients’ children and family
  • Handling personal errands, purchases and returns, administration and logistics
  • Managing diary and scheduling meetings
  • Making travel arrangements (mainly commercial)
  • Establishing and maintaining systems that help clients day-to-day run smoothly, including filing, inventories, updating contact lists etc
  • Extensive research, sorting through and compiling materials for legal cases
  • Personal duties to the client – including scheduling of doctor’s appointments etc
  • Handling all types of correspondence
  • Experience with packing / unpacking of fine clothing and designer garments
  • Have a strong black book of contacts

Candidates must be / have:

  • Have a successful track record delivering on the above
  • Prior experience working with HNW clientele in a Private PA capacity
  • Ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently
  • Have a sense of humour
  • Have good people skills – communicating and listening well, having empathy and being supportive
  • Be a good problem solver
  • Ideally have a legal background / education
  • Able to handle very sensitive information (confidentiality and discretion required at all times)
  • Have no outside commitments and are able to put your personal life on hold (24/7role)
  • Able to juggle and manage workload on different time zones
  • Have an immaculate appearance
  • Strong emotional intelligence and diplomacy
