Production Specialist - 12pm-8pm - Outstanding City Law Firm

To provide a professional and high quality Centre of Excellence in a busy, deadline driven environment. The Document Production Specialist will provide a fast, accurate, document production service for internal clients throughout the firm. The role will focus on client satisfaction, quality, reliability and efficiency within a highly specialised team.

You will be an expert in Microsoft Office as well as being a guardian of the firm's brand and the firm's styles and templates.

Ideally you will have passed the Microsoft Office Specialist certificate, and you must also have previous experience working as a document specialist withing a busy corporate City law practice.

The Document Production Specialist will need to be flexible from time to time in respect of working hours to ensure that absences are covered to an appropriate level at all times as well as meeting any workload/client requirements.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Transcription, through the use of digital dictation
Document Production and manipulation
Proof reading
Ability to use innovative document production tools
Design and creativity input to produce quality documents across multiple applications, including PowerPoint presentations
Design and creativity input to evolve the firm's templates and styles
Sharing of knowledge and expertise across the business as well as being responsive and flexible to the needs of a particular client
Key players in our delivery of excellent client service, with customer focus being at the heart of anything that is delivered
Driving efficiencies through the use of technology and expertise
Contributing to the success of the Document Production Specialists and understanding how this success is measured
Quality checking your own work and that of your peers if required
Working efficiently to meet workflow demands and deadlines. Prioritising own work and communicating with the Team Leader if a deadline cannot be met
Supporting the team and knowing when others need help (as well as asking for help yourself) Highlighting problems before they escalate
Understanding and working to the service level the team has agreed to provide - contributing to this standard and helping others to contribute too.
Proactive in making suggestions for improvement and acting on them
Highlighting any skills concerns and implementing solutions to show continuous improvement

Essential Skills, knowledge and behaviour required

To be able to use the OCR equipment and to convert documents to the relevant software.
Digital document processing functions, Adobe Acrobat 5 upwards.
Experience of document management system known as FileSite.

Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, in particular, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to be able to use the OCR equipment and to convert documents to the relevant software.

Advanced knowledge of formatting/re-formatting all document types to specified house style or to client specific instructions
Fast, accurate typing skills (both audio and copy typing)
