Excellent Fraud Prevention Administration role, based in Central Reading, salary circa £25,000

A Financial Services company, based in Central Reading.

Your new role
An exciting opportunity to join a Financial Services Scam Identification Team. These roles will focus solely on the administration of the Scams service in an exciting period of growth.

Your duties will include:

  • Setting up of new members for Scams processing
  • Arrange appointments with members by telephone and email
  • Conduct telephone interviews with members to identify those at risk of a Scam.
  • Review information provided in line with the Code of Good Practice
  • Produce reports for client teams, Trustees and Compliance review where needed Dealing confidently with members by phone, email or letter
  • Ensuring that member cases are dealt with in accordance with strict deadlines
  • Peer to Peer review where required
  • Process cases in line with agreed Scam Team processes
  • Project and new client work as directed by Team Leader or Manager
  • Liaison with Customers, Clients, Scheme Actuary, Consultants, Providers and third parties



What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate has experience in Financial Services or Fraud Prevention but due to the niche market, any candidate with transferable skills will be considered.

As well as this, the following is required:

  • Able to demonstrate ownership, responsibility and accountability for self
  • Be organised, methodical and logical in approach to tasks
  • Have high standards, excellent quality and customer responsiveness
  • Able to plan and be flexible with that plan
  • Be proactive, having drive and commitment Is able to work on own initiative
  • Have a can-do attitude, attention to detail and takes pride in work
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Have the ability to work in a team towards company objectives Have experience of working with MS Office products, such as Outlook, Excel, Word
