HR Manager
Up to £60k pro rata
6 month FTC
A unique opportunity has arisen for an immediately available, established HR Manager with a real passion for people to join an exciting team as part of Europe’s largest experience design agency. Initially a 6 month FTC, this role is all encompassing and you will be responsible for all pastoral and procedural HR matters, line managing two individuals. No two days are the same in this role and it is a real roll sleeves up and get stuck in environment. They are looking for someone who is a natural people person, has strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills as well as having the ability to build solid relationships. Key responsibilities of the HR Manager role will include:
- People – building an affinity with everyone within the business, being aware of everything that is going on in the agency and problem solving
- Line management – coaching, supporting and developing two direct line reports
- HR Policy and Procedures – keeping up to date with professional HR best practices and making recommendations to the business for change
- Organisational and people development – staff surveys, appraisals, support the leadership team to achieve the agency’s goals
- Coaching and development - coaching the mid weight and senior team to develop their people, line management and supervision skills
- Payroll – ensure accurate and complete data on people, salaries and benefits for the monthly payroll
- Laws & Regulations – keeping up to date with the latest laws, dealing with employment contracts and agreements
This is an exceptionally varied role that requires someone to have at least 3 years’ experience as an HR Manager and ideally from an agency environment or something equally as fast paced.You must have demonstrable knowledge of real world HR best practice and employment legislation, experience of line management and providing HR support and advice to staff internationally ideally.
