Bid Coordinator – Start ASAP!

A fantastic opportunity to support the business development activities that help win work within a designated part of a global design business. The main element of the role will be to coordinate and support on the delivery of high-quality bid submission documents – either as ‘expressions of interest’ or as specific responses to competitive tenders.

  

To make an impact in this role you will…

Take the lead as a specialist Bid Advisor within the organisation and help to develop the capacity to win work across the group, through:  

  • Coordinating the end-to-end Bid process from PQQ to final submission and review
  • Developing and collating high quality Bid content, working with marketing teams and subject matter experts across the firm
  • Improving the quality and efficiency of bidding using training and shared systems and resources
  • Promoting and supporting the effective use of tracking in Bid and client relationships
  • Supporting efforts to help all Consulting staff become more client-focused
  • Drawing on the central UK Business Development resource as needed
  • Providing advice on winning work to senior leaders, with the support of the Team Leader and central Business Development team 

Lead on providing business development support for a portfolio of priority clients, services, bids and projects, including:  

  • Using and encouraging the use of CRM to manage this portfolio
  • Helping analyse and identify client needs
  • Co-ordinating content and information gathering for sales/listening meetings (including targeted client research), Prequalification (PQ), PQ Questionnaire and Expressions of Interest, bids and tender responses, Bid/No-bid and Bid launch events
  • Supporting senior Business Development colleagues in undertaking client feedback interviews and mapping out key clients
  • Assisting a senior BD colleague in client Portal management for specific bids and supporting registrations and opportunity distribution for the Group

To be a success in this role you are likely to have...

A degree level education, proven experience within bidding and business development, preferably within professional services, design, construction or infrastructure. Excellent communication skills, particularly written, and strong visual/formatting skills.
