A well established Investment Bank with stunning offices in the City is looking for a Team Assistant within their Securities division. This will be a busy demanding role and require a high level of attention for detail. You will be floating within the division covering absences and sickness and developing your skills working with different teams. Your main duties will be organising events, booking international travel, processing expenses, rather than diary management. This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a busy and dynamic environment that has previous experience in supporting a team and arranging meetings and itineries. This will be a demanding role so it needs someone who is able to work well under pressure. Financial Services or Investment Banking would be desirable.
The role will include:
- Extensive calendar organisation.
- Handles high volume of phone calls and emails.
- Relays information in a timely manner.
- Coordinates and schedules meetings, conferences and special events.
- Coordinates travel arrangements and assists with reports.
- Takes on ad hoc projects while maintaining work flow, miscellaneous general office duties and administrative support.
- Orders and organises all supplies.
- Maintains faxes, printers and photocopiers.
- Must be able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks.
- Demonstrates dependability, sense of urgency, and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task.
- Must display a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone, by e-mail and letter to senior level executives.
- Comfortable working with people at all organisational levels.
Skills:
- Strong MS Office skills, Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Pleasant phone manner.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize.
- Good sense of humour.
- Communication skills, articulate and resourceful.
- Must be a team player that works well under pressure.
