HOSPITALITY MANAGER

World leading commercially focussed higher education establishment in central London are looking for a Hospitality Manager. They would ideally like to recruit someone with a background in providing 5 star customer service within hospitality management or retail management.

This role is shift hours rotating 4 days on and 4 days off (and includes early evenings and weekends)

The position is to assist with all campus services including Reception, housekeeping, property, fitness and retail areas and is to ensure the areas are operating to exceptionally high standards and any issues are resolved efficiently.

Key tasks will include:

  • Audit and quality checks – ensuring all campus space is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Action and escalation – work with colleagues to ensure immediate response and escalate actions as necessary. Log relevant jobs and work closely with the helpdesk to track progress.
  • Customer Service – prioritise events and activities, deliver presentations, work with Front of House to ensure a 5 * service is delivered at all times. Be visible across the campus and provide information to end users.

Experience and Knowledge required:

  • Used to operating in a customer facing environment (retail/hospitality management),
  • Service oriented and to understand the importance of quality
  • Experience of checking service standards across an organisation
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of engaging with a diverse customer and contractor bank
  • Able to make decisions swiftly and escalate where necessary
